Taylor Swift reacts to Olympian Breezy Johnson's engagement with perfect comment
The celebrated duo is expected to have their wedding at Ocean House in Watch Hill, R.I.
Taylor Swift offered her warmest wishes to Olympian skier Breezy Johnson on her engagement with a heartfelt message.
Johnson posted pictures to social media from the moment her fiancé, Connor Watkins popped the question on Thursday, as she crossed the finish line of the women’s Super-G race in Italy.
Watkins gave her a blue-stone engagement ring — in a box adorned with lyrics from Swift’s 2024 hit, “The Alchemy.”
The "Cruel Summer" singer extended her good wishes while referencing lyrics from “The Alchemy.”
“Honestly, who are we to resist the magic?" read the ring box in a picture from the snowy engagement scene.
Without delay, Swift responded to the post using more lyrics from the song. “‘Where’s the prize? He just rushes over to me’ CONGRATULATIONS!!!” wrote the multiple Grammy-winning artist.
This special occasion happened just days after Johnson won the gold medal in the women’s downhill on Sunday — although just before the proposal, she had a fall during her last event at the 2026 Winter Games.
“Hey everyone… meet Connor! My former boyfriend! And now, my fiancé!!! Thank you to all who made this possible. This was everything I’d hoped for. Just like Connor!” shared the soon-to-be bride and Olympic champion alongside the proposal photos on Thursday.
Swift’s remark comes as she celebrates her own engagement — Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce famously proposed to the “Cruel Summer” star in August 2025 following two years together.
“Your English and gym teachers are getting married,” the couple wrote in the joint post, sharing some pictures from the garden proposal.
