Jelly Roll and Wife Bunnie Xo celebrate intimacy boost after singer weight loss

Bunnie Xo opened up about how the rapper’s dramatic weight loss has not only boosted his health but also reignited passion in their marriage.”

Bunnie Xo, 46, told Us Weekly that their sex life improved significantly after Jelly Roll dropped from 540 pounds to 265 pounds. 

“We always had a sex life, but there were mountains and valleys that we had to go through, especially when he was so big,” she admitted.

The Dumb Blonde podcast host praised her husband’s “excitement and new zest for life” since his transformation. 

“It’s so childlike and just giddy just seeing him get to be the man that I always saw that he was,” she said. 

“Even when he was 500 pounds, this dude was an agile, big guy. I’m like, ‘You are athletic under that meat suit.’ Now that he has the weight off, he just gets to be who I always knew that he was, and it’s brought a new sense of happiness to him. Any time he’s happy, I’m happy.”

Jelly Roll also reflected on how challenging intimacy was at his heaviest. During a December 2025 appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, the three-time Grammy nominee recalled, “[Before I lost weight], my sex life with my wife was horrible. I couldn’t even get aroused, I was so big. I was having to play Twister to have sex — left foot here, right foot in the X. Are we in there yet? Tell me if you feel something. I mean, it was bad.”

Despite the struggles, Bunnie emphasized she always found her husband attractive, joking that she now finds herself “drooling” over his slimmer frame.

The couple first met in 2015 at one of Jelly Roll’s gigs at Las Vegas’ Country Saloon, and they married in 2016. Bunnie said she loves seeing her husband embrace life after shedding the extra weight.
