Inside Machine Gun Kelly’s life as a father to two girls

Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker, is a devoted father to two daughters: Casie Colson Baker and Saga Blade Fox-Baker. 

The musician has spoken candidly about the joy and responsibility of fatherhood, sharing how his children inspire both his personal life and career.

Casie Colson Baker 

Kelly welcomed his eldest daughter, Casie, on July 24, 2009, with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon in Cleveland. Over the years, Casie has been a central influence in her father’s life. Kelly has credited her with inspiring his sobriety, recalling a heartfelt conversation when she was 11 or 12 years old. “It started with my daughter saying, 'Dad, you know I can tell when you're high?' It broke my heart,” he told the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast in August 2024.

Beyond personal growth, Casie has been involved in her father’s career. “She's actually saved me from making some career mistakes,” Kelly told People in 2025. 

“She grew up in it, so there's a passion that she has. It’s a really good aid.”

Casie often accompanies her dad to red carpet events. In 2025, she introduced him at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and attended the Fashion Media Awards, describing herself as his “support system” despite feeling the occasional stress of the spotlight. 

Kelly also surprised her with a black Acura TLX for her 16th birthday, though neither he nor Casie has a driver’s license yet.

Saga Blade Fox-Baker

Kelly and former fiancée Megan Fox welcomed their first child together, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, on March 27, 2025. 

Fox had announced her pregnancy in November 2024 with an Instagram post that referenced Kelly’s song “last november,” written about a previous pregnancy loss.

The couple called off their wedding shortly after the announcement, but welcomed Saga a few months later. Kelly shared the news on Instagram, celebrating their newborn as his “little celestial seed,” later clarifying her name.

In a June 2025 interview on Today, he explained the meaning behind Saga: “Her journey… she’s an epic story, and that’s what Saga means. I think she has a storytelling future ahead of her.”

Kelly also praised Fox’s parenting role, emphasizing that she does the “heavy lifting” in their co-parenting partnership. “I just play the guitar and pray that the baby is happy,” he said, highlighting his admiration for her efforts.

Fatherhood and Legacy

Kelly has described fatherhood as energizing and purpose-driven. “It recharges your will-to-live battery and recertifies your you-have-a-purpose-here sticker,” he told People. 

Reflecting on his life, he said, “I’m just grateful to have some time here to get to know some really nice people and raise two little girls who are going to grow up to be better than I am and mean a lot more to people than I do.”

With Casie growing into her teen years and Saga just starting her journey, Kelly’s focus remains on providing love, guidance, and stability for his daughters, ensuring that they thrive both personally and creatively.
