Samsung is leaning heavily into artificial intelligence (AI) in its latest marketing push, rolling out a wave of AI-assisted promotional videos across its social media platforms.

The South Korean tech giant has recently shared multiple clips on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok that were created or enhanced using generative AI tools, including a teaser for its upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup.

One promotional video titled “Brighten your after hours” features two people skateboarding at night, highlighting what Samsung claims are the low-light video capabilities of the Galaxy S26.

A small disclaimer at the end notes that the footage was “generated with the assistance of AI tools.”

However, some visual inconsistencies — such as oddly weighted grocery bags and shifting cobblestones — make the artificial elements noticeable even without the disclosure.

Several other AI-assisted ads promoting camera features carry the tagline “Can your phone do that?” but the company does not clarify whether the showcased content was produced using its own devices or external AI models.

Samsung has previously faced criticism over how it presents smartphone camera capabilities in advertising.

In addition to smartphone promotions, Samsung has posted AI-styled animated clips and appliance advertisements, many of which include similar disclaimers.

Notably, platforms like YouTube and Instagram have not applied their own AI labels to some of these videos, despite industry adoption of the C2PA authenticity standard.
