SeatGeek partners with Spotify to sell concert tickets in-app
The deal gives SeatGeek valuable visibility inside Spotify’s platform
SeatGeek has announced a new partnership with Spotify that will allow users to purchase concert tickets directly within the streaming app.
Under the integration, Spotify listeners browsing an artist’s profile or tour schedule will now see ticket links powered by SeatGeek for select venues.
The feature is designed to create a smoother path from music discovery to ticket purchase.
The rollout currently applies to venues where SeatGeek serves as the primary ticketing provider.
This includes 15 major US stadium partners such as State Farm Stadium, Nissan Stadium, and AT&T Stadium.
While SeatGeek is also active in the resale market, this collaboration focuses exclusively on venues where it controls primary ticket sales.
The deal gives SeatGeek valuable visibility inside Spotify’s platform, potentially reaching hundreds of millions of active users as they explore live events.
SeatGeek continues to compete with major ticketing companies such as Ticketmaster and AXS, both of which maintain long-term agreements with leading venues nationwide.
Spotify said earlier this year that its ticketing partnerships have helped artists generate more than $1 billion in ticket sales.
The company, which recently reported over 750 million monthly users and 290 million paid subscribers, has been expanding its role in connecting fans with live events.
