Tesla has unveiled a new all-wheel-drive (AWD) Cybertruck priced at $59,990, marking the most affordable version of the futuristic pickup yet, though still far above the $40,000 starting price Elon Musk originally promised.

The announcement comes alongside a $15,000 price cut for the high-end tri-motor “Cyberbeast” variant, as Tesla doubles down on efforts to revive slowing Cybertruck sales.

The dual-motor AWD Cybertruck is now available for order on Tesla’s website.

It undercuts the short-lived rear-wheel-drive model launched last year, while adding features absent in that earlier version, including a powered tonneau cover, bed outlets, and adaptive suspension.

The trade-off is a slightly reduced driving range: 325 miles compared to the 350 miles offered by the single-motor variant.

Musk indicated on X that the $59,990 price is temporary, noting it will last “for the next 10 days” without specifying what follows after the promotional period ends.

Meanwhile, the tri-motor Cyberbeast has returned to a $99,990 price point after multiple fluctuations since its launch.

Tesla initially set the price at $99,990, then raised it by $20,000, dropped it back down, increased it again by $15,000, and now it is back to its original cost.

The moves appear aimed at boosting sagging demand. Cybertruck sales reportedly fell 48% in 2025, totaling just over 20,000 vehicles, a far cry from Musk’s early prediction of 250,000 annual units.

Despite the lower price, the Cybertruck’s polarizing design and lingering skepticism around Tesla’s ability to deliver on production promises mean the truck’s public perception remains as divisive as ever.
