Scott Wolf speaks out on family’s ‘difficult chapter,’ says he and Kelley are ‘healing’
Their update comes months after a divorce filing and court-ordered psychiatric treatment
Scott and Kelley Wolf said they are focusing on healing after a turbulent few months marked by divorce filings, legal disputes and mental health treatment.
The 57-year-old Party of Five actor filed for divorce from Kelley, 49, in June. Days later, she was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold at a Utah hospital following concerns raised by a friend about her mental health.
In the months that followed, Scott filed and later withdrew a restraining order against his estranged wife.
Despite the upheaval, the couple now say their priority remains their three children: sons Jackson, 16, and Miller, 13, and daughter Lucy, 11.
“We are healing,” Scott told People. “We are committed to being honest, authentic, and loving to ourselves, to each other, and for our children. We thank everyone for their love and support.”
A source close to the family echoed that sentiment, saying the pair have approached the process with care. “As always, these two are being so loving about this entire process,” the source said.
“Although there is no way to know the future of their relationship yet, they remain committed to loving each other and their family, with their children being put before everything else, like always.”
It remains unclear whether the couple have reconciled or are simply working toward a more amicable co-parenting relationship.
However, they were recently seen spending time together as a family at Universal Studios Hollywood. Scott shared a photo from the outing on Instagram, captioning it, “2/20/2026. Healing. Thank you @unistudios for an epic day at the park! So much fun!”
The path to that moment has been far from smooth.
In August, Scott described the situation as “incredibly difficult and contentious,” saying in a statement that his children’s well-being would always remain his top priority. He also referenced “deeply disturbing and entirely false allegations” made against him.
Kelley was later arrested and charged with harassing Scott. During a court appearance, she revealed plans to enter a treatment facility in September, stating she hoped it would help.
Although she initially checked out shortly after entering treatment, a Utah judge later ordered a minimum 60-day involuntary psychiatric hold, requiring her to remain on prescribed medication.
She was subsequently transferred to another mental health facility to complete the remainder of her treatment.
