How to stream and watch the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards on TV

The 2026 BAFTA Film Awards are scheduled for Sunday (February 22), at London's Royal Festival Hall. Situated in the midst of awards season, this event might offer hints about voting trends for the Oscars on March 15.

The BAFTA Film Awards will air in the UK on BBC One and iPlayer at 7pm GMT. In North America, tune in to E! at 8pm ET. 

E! has replaced BritBox as the rights-holder in the U.S. BAFTA will also be sharing key moments and winner speeches on their social media platforms.

The BAFTA Film Awards will begin at 5pm GMT on February 22. The winners will be announced in real time, although the event won't be broadcast live on the BBC.

The Traitors host Alan Cumming will lead the ceremony for the first time. He steps in for last year’s host, David Tennant. Cumming previously hosted the 2025 BAFTA TV Awards.

The night will feature a rendition of “Golden” by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the artists known for Netflix’s hit KPop Demon Hunters. Additionally, Jessie Ware will perform during the In Memoriam segment.

One Battle After Another stands out with 14 nominations, including Best Film, Director, and Adapted Screenplay. 

This achievement matches the second-highest number of nominations for a movie, following Richard Attenborough’s Gandhi, which received 16 in 1983.

Sinners received 13 BAFTA nominations. Categories include Director and Original Screenplay for Ryan Coogler. 

Michael B. Jordan received his first BAFTA nomination for Best Actor, while Wunmi Mosaku from Manchester is nominated for Best Actress.
