Matt Bellamy and Elle Evans reportedly split after six years of marriage
The former couple have yet to publicly confirm the reported separation
Matt Bellamy and Elle Evans have reportedly ended their marriage after six years together.
According to a report by The Sun on Sunday, the Muse frontman, 47, and Evans, 36, amicably split in October 2025 and have since been focused on co-parenting their two children, daughter Lovella, five, and son George, 21 months.
An industry insider told the outlet that the former couple “quietly broke up last October,” describing their relationship as “very amicable.” The source added that Bellamy and Evans “are now focused on co-parenting their children and still get on very well.”
Neither Bellamy nor Evans has publicly confirmed the separation.
The reported split comes months after Bellamy was spotted in Notting Hill, West London, with a mystery woman and without his wedding ring.
The pair tied the knot in Malibu, California, in 2019 after first meeting in 2015 on the set of Muse’s “Mercy” music video.
The former couple welcomed their son George on Mother’s Day in the United States in May 2024 — a date that also marked Evans’ mother Julie’s birthday. George is named after Bellamy’s father.
In addition to Lovella and George, Bellamy is also father to 14-year-old Bingham, whom he shares with ex-fiancée Kate Hudson. Over the years, the blended family has maintained a close bond.
Speaking in May 2024, Hudson expressed her support for their extended family dynamic, saying she was happy to babysit Bellamy’s children and praising the “real family unit” they’ve created.
Hudson shares son Ryder with musician Chris Robinson and daughter Rani with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
Bellamy and Evans had divided their time between the U.K. and Los Angeles, where Bingham lives.
In a 2022 interview, Bellamy revealed he was considering becoming an American citizen but also expressed a desire to return to the U.K. — if the entire extended family could relocate together.
“Even though I’ve lived in Los Angeles for 10 years now, this is still my home,” he said at the time, referring to his upbringing in Devon, England.
