Inside Eminem’s family life: Meet his three daughters
Eminem’s devotion to family proves he’s as much a dad and grandpa as he is a global superstar
Eminem, the legendary rapper known for his raw lyrics and tough exterior, is equally devoted as a father, raising three daughters: Hailie Jade, Alaina, and Stevie. The rapper’s relationship with his children has not only shaped his life but also played a pivotal role in his personal growth and sobriety.
Hailie Jade Scott
Born on December 25, 1995, in Detroit, Michigan, Hailie has been a recurring presence in her father’s music, featured in hits like Hailie’s Song and Temporary.
Eminem has called her a “real wakeup call” who motivated him to work harder and focus on his family.
Hailie graduated from Michigan State College with a psychology degree, earning a 3.9 GPA, and has established herself as a content creator with her 2022 podcast, Just a Little Shady, where she discusses pop culture and personal experiences.
In March 2025, Hailie welcomed her first child, Elliot Marshall McClintock, making Eminem a grandfather.
She announced the news to her father with a heartfelt blue football jersey reading “Grandpa” and a sonogram, moments that left Eminem visibly emotional. Hailie married her longtime partner, Evan McClintock, in May 2024, celebrating with family and friends in a joyous ceremony.
Alaina Marie Scott
Born on February 22, 1993, Alaina is Eminem’s niece, whom he legally adopted in the early 2000s. She grew up with the rapper and considers him a father figure. Eminem famously referenced her in the 2004 hit Mockingbird, showing his deep care for her.
Alaina attended Oakland University, earning a BA in communication with minors in public relations and advertising. She is now a travel blogger and frequently shares her adventures online.
In June 2023, Alaina married her longtime love, Matt Moeller, in Detroit, with Eminem walking her down an 80-foot-long aisle lined with 2,000 white roses. Hailie served as a bridesmaid, highlighting the close bond between the sisters. Alaina has also celebrated Hailie’s milestones, sharing heartfelt tributes on social media when her sister got engaged and later married.
Stevie Laine Scott
The youngest of Eminem’s children, Stevie was born on April 16, 2002, to Kim Scott and her then-boyfriend Eric Hartter. Eminem legally adopted Stevie in 2005. In 2021, Stevie publicly came out as nonbinary on TikTok, sharing a heartfelt journey toward self-acceptance and now uses all pronouns.
Stevie is in a long-distance relationship with TikToker Declan Jace, frequently sharing sweet moments of their life together online, receiving widespread support from fans for their openness and authenticity.
A father’s devotion
Eminem has often spoken about the transformative power of fatherhood. In interviews, he credited his children with helping him overcome addiction and navigate life beyond fame. “I love them so much and they've helped me through so many things,” he told the New York Times Magazine in 2010.
Even amid his global career, Eminem has always prioritized being present for his daughters, attending school events, supporting their milestones, and celebrating their accomplishments. His dedication to his family remains one of the most personal and inspiring aspects of the rapper’s life.
