Taylor Swift marked the rise of "Opalite" to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 by unveiling some behind-the-scenes footage from its creation — which included a makeup-free snippet from the recording studio.

At 36, Swift shared these personal images and clips in an Instagram post on Monday (February 23).

"Just sharing a few Opalite moments to celebrate this Hot 100 #1 you all earned this song!" started the 14-time Grammy award winner in her caption.

"Words can't express my joy, and I'm utterly amazed by the support this song and video have received," Swift noted, explaining that it's just the second time she has enjoyed two number one singles from the same album on the Hot 100 list — the previous album being 2014's 1989.

"I get that there are many numbers, but all of it boils down to me being extremely grateful to the fans who made this possible by embracing the song wholeheartedly," the pop icon added. "I'm absolutely thrilled about this!!"

The post featured a makeup-free video of Swift in the studio with producer Max Martin fine-tuning "Opalite" while flaunting her natural blonde curls.

Additional footage shows Swift on the set filming the music video, dressed in a brown wig and an outfit inspired by the 1980s for the filming.

"I’ve never felt more me," she commented in the video with the costume, adding, "This is who I truly should be."

In supplementary photos and clips, Swift is seen recording "Opalite" vocals and celebrating with Martin, 54, and Shellback, the producers behind her 12th album.

Swift, who penned and directed the "Opalite" music video, explained in an Instagram post how the visual concept "crash landed into [her] thoughts" while promoting her The Life of a Showgirl on Graham Norton's talk show back in October 2025.

"I recall feeling unbelievably fortunate with the group I was matched with," the singer-songwriter mentioned, highlighting the team of actors and musicians, which included Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Lewis Capaldi as individuals whose work she has "admired from a distance."
