Sharon Osbourne opens up about her essential morning ritual
Sharon Osbourne prioritises starting her day by staying updated with the latest news
Before Sharon Osbourne, 73, commences her daily beauty regimen, she has an essential task to complete.
"Opening my day with global news is a must—I'm pretty hooked," Osbourne admitted to host Bunnie XO during her "Dumb Blonde" podcast.
"I browse through Instagram, check my emails, and then begin with icing my face."
The television star and spouse of former Black Sabbath lead Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July, is quite particular about her facial icing method.
"I use a bowl and also place some ice in a small baggie, repeating the process. Next comes the face mask, and then my day officially starts," she explained.
As for her signature red locks, Osbourne diligently revivifies them every 10 days.
However, maintaining that splendid hue isn't a walk in the park, as Osbourne noted it ends up "everywhere."
"It's quite troublesome. My neck turns red, my clothing is red, the pillowcases, everything," she noted.
Recollecting a brief affair with blonde through highlights in the '80s, Sharon reaffirmed her allegiance to red, inspired by her mother's similar hair color.
"Beneath it all, my hair's naturally gray or white, or whatever it might be. I tried embracing that and found it utterly disheartening," Osbourne stated.
"Sometimes I'd catch my reflection in a store window and think, who on Earth is that? Oh, it's me. Definitely not for me," she shared.
Sharon is not alone in prioritising news over other morning activities.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai kickstarts his day by perusing Techmeme, a platform curating tech headlines.
Martha Stewart, 84, rises at approximately 4:30 a.m., spending her early hours on news and puzzles.
Peter Warwick, the leader of Scholastic, dedicates his early hours to surfing news outlets and stays current on Arsenal's matches, his favored English Premier League team.
