Comedian Russell Brand has pleaded not guilty to new accusations, which include rape and sexual assault involving two additional women.

The 50-year-old was previously charged with raping and sexually assaulting two women in incidents said to have happened between 1999 and 2005 in Bournemouth and London.

In December, Scotland Yard revealed further charges against Brand.

The additional accusations encompass one count of rape and another of sexual assault involving two women.

Officials confirmed these new charges are supplementary to prior allegations tied to four other alleged victims.

Brand appeared at Southwark Crown Court, where he denied the allegations.

Legal documents indicate the alleged incidents took place in London in 2009.

The comedian is facing trial, having pleaded not guilty to various counts of rape, indecent assault, and sexual assault.

Previous court sessions disclosed that Brand is accused of raping a woman in a hotel during a Labour Party gathering.

Furthermore, he is alleged to have forced a radio employee against a wall, trying to kiss and grope her.

The Met Police began an inquiry into the TV personality in September 2023 after detailed reports by The Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches concerning his treatment of women.

In response to the allegations, Brand spoke to his 11.3 million followers on X, vehemently denying any allegations of rape.

He stated, "During my more reckless days before settling with a family, I made foolish choices."

"I have made mistakes but insist on never involving in any act that was non-consensual. I hope my sincerity is evident through my words," he communicated.

At the height of his career, Brand starred in several Hollywood movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek.

From 2006 to 2008, Brand hosted a BBC Radio 2 show but stepped down after leaving an inappropriate voicemail for Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs about his granddaughter.

Lately, he has transformed into a politically-inclined podcaster, often critical of what he deems an overly liberal culture, dividing his time between the US and UK.

Once married to pop star Katy Perry, Brand now has three children with his wife, Laura Gallacher, age 37.
