Jonathan Scott reveals hidden 'secret' rooms in his bold 'New York' home

Jonathan Scott has treated fans to an intimate, deep-dive tour of the vibrant New York City apartment he shares with his fiancée, Zooey Deschanel.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel on Friday, the 47-year-old property expert revealed previously unseen corners of their maximalist home.

Scott explained that since their permanent Los Angeles residence is already so cherished, they felt the need to push boundaries in Manhattan.

“The trick was we had to do things here that were even more bold and that were even more exciting,” he noted.

Among the new highlights is a strikingly blue kids' bathroom, designed for Deschanel’s children, Elsie and Charlie.

Featuring checkered floor tiles and cabinetry inspired by a vintage ceiling light, Scott described the space as “sophisticated at the same time as it is whimsical.”

Guests are also in for a treat with a burgundy, Parisian-style bedroom designed to mimic the aesthetic of European hotels. Scott promised that visitors can expect "the most peaceful, quiet nights" thanks to the room's secluded location.

The tour also delved into Scott’s personal work sanctuary: a warm, walnut-toned office tucked away downstairs. Behind a sliding door in his workspace lies a "hidden secret"—a stylish laundry room adorned with colourful wallpaper and blue tiles.

From dry-cleaning gadgets to floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, the home is a testament to the couple's love for daring design. As Scott quipped during the tour, “You'll see in here, even a laundry room can be pretty.”
