Selena Gomez advised to split from Benny Blanco after his controversial podcast video

Benny Blanco's unclean feet have some Selena Gomez followers up in arms.

The music producer, 37, launched his new podcast alongside his good friend, Lil Dicky, and Lil Dicky’s wife, Kristin Batalucco, named “Friends Keep Secrets” on Tuesday.

At one moment during the show, Blanco relaxed on a couch without any shoes, wearing a combination of an orange and white T-shirt with tan pants. 

His feet were in clear view, showing what seemed to be dirt on his soles and toes.

At another moment in the podcast, he deliberately made a loud noise by passing gas.

“Hold on, see if you guys can hear this,” he announced as he made the sound.

Certain fans of Gomez were not thrilled, and they voiced their complaints on social media.

“I can’t understand how she allows him to touch her,” one individual commented under a podcast clip.

“WHY in the world would she choose to marry him out of everyone?” another person remarked.

One X user said, “That’s revolting, I don’t know how Selena deals with this.”

Several fans even pleaded with the former Disney Channel star to part ways with Blanco.

“Selena needs to leave him and find someone better,” one X user stated.

Another comment noted, “I’ve never been more let down by Selena than right now.”

Blanco has previously attracted attention with his cleanliness habits. In an interview with People during November 2024, he revealed he does not shower daily.

“I know some people bathe two to three times a day, but I believe your skin's oils need time to refresh and restore their balance,” he mentioned.

“I enjoy a variety in scents. I want to smell [like] tobacco but also hinting at cotton candy,” he continued. “I want there to be a fragrance as I walk by. I prefer a scent that’s a bit masculine and a bit feminine, leaning slightly more towards feminine in every aspect.”

Gomez, 33, and Blanco tied the knot in November 2025. She shared her reasons for being drawn to Blanco after he earned a special mention in People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue for 2024.
