Alix Earle calls reunion with ex Braxton Berrios ‘really hard’ after emotional encounter

Alix Earle opened up about an emotional and unexpected run-in with her ex-boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, marking the first time the two had seen each other since their breakup.

The 25-year-old influencer revealed in a Feb. 25 TikTok that she reunited with Berrios, 30, over the weekend, months after their split was confirmed in December. 

Though the former couple began dating in 2023, Earle shared that she hadn’t seen the NFL player in person since October.

“It was honestly just really hard for me, really weird, really hard,” she admitted candidly.

The reunion took place at the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado, where both attended multiple events, including a pre-party at Kemo Sabe hosted by SipMARGS, a beverage brand in which they are both investors.

Earle recalled feeling overwhelmed during the first night of the festival.

“I was really emotional the first night,” she said. “We were in the same place, but we didn't say hi to each other, just ’cause I don't want to, like, go up and annoy him.”

The pair eventually spoke briefly at a second event, though the interaction remained minimal. Still, the moment proved difficult for the social media personality.

“It's weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room,” she shared. “So that was tough. And by tough, I mean terrible.”

Earle has been candid about navigating single life. In a January TikTok, she described the adjustment as “so weird,” admitting she has spoken to her audience about always having been in relationships.

“I think I've just always had boyfriends. I was, like, a boyfriend hopper,” she said. “This year, I'm gonna be dedicated to being OK with being alone.”

She later shared during a February episode of her YouTube series Get Ready With Me that she feels happiest when surrounded by friends, acknowledging that solitude has been more challenging.

In recent weeks, Earle has also been romantically linked to retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady after the two were spotted at the same New Year’s Eve event in St. Barths and later at a Super Bowl weekend party in San Francisco.
