Country artist J.D. Graham has provided an update on his condition after being in a significant highway accident.

In a Facebook Reel shared, he updated fans from his hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown and a neck brace.

"I'm just barely holding on here. Thank you all, I'm still a bit scattered, but my daughter told me that people are helping me with some matters... with my broken back, broken ribs, and heartache," he expressed.

Graham revealed another sad detail by indicating that his "dog passed away alongside him in the car."

"This is a tragedy, and I appreciate your support. I hope to see you all soon. Right now, I'm not focused on music; my priority is to heal. Just wanted to provide you all an update, take care, love you," he said.

The video was shared with the message, "Dad wanted to personally update everyone. While hardships persist, divine support is greater. Thank you for your continued support."

On GoFundMe, family members Destiny and Sydney provided more insight into the details of Graham's accident.

"On February 24, my dad, Jeremy Graham, experienced a grave accident on the highway. He was struck by a semi and then crashed into another. The accident was severe, requiring emergency personnel to extract him from the car," their post conveyed. "From there, he was transported to a local hospital and then airlifted to a trauma center in Texas, where he is under treatment."

While awaiting his test results, Graham's family mentioned that the journey towards recovery would be "arduous and prolonged."

Graham is celebrated for his soul-stirring music exploring themes of redemption and sobriety amid challenging times.

According to his official bio, this is not his first encounter with a major car incident, as he was previously involved in a "devastating car crash" in 2017, resulting in a five-year prison term in Arizona.
