Bruno Mars unveils wedding-themed ‘Risk It All’ video from The Romantic
The Romantic signals the Grammy winner’s first solo album in years
Bruno Mars has ushered in a new era with the release of his fourth solo studio album, The Romantic, debuting the project alongside a cinematic wedding-themed music video for its latest single, Risk It All.
“New Video. New Album. New Chapter,” Mars wrote on Instagram on Feb. 27, signaling what appears to be a fresh creative phase for the 40-year-old hitmaker.
The Risk It All video opens with Mars strumming a guitar beside a mariachi band outdoors before shifting to an empty church, where he performs in front of a stained-glass window dressed in an all-white suit and cowboy hat.
As the Latin-tinged ballad swells, guests fill the pews and a bride walks down the aisle toward Mars at the altar.
Serenading his onscreen bride, he sings, “I would run through the fire just to be by your side / If your heart’s on the line you could take mine … I’d risk it all for you.” The couple marries, exits to a shower of rice and drives off in a classic “Just Married” car, cans trailing behind.
The video closes with a montage of their life together, from newlywed bliss to growing old and reminiscing over their wedding photo.
Risk It All follows January’s “I Just Might,” which climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The new album marks Mars’s first solo body of work since his 2021 collaboration An Evening with Silk Sonic alongside Anderson. Paak, a project that earned the duo four Grammy Awards.
Earlier this month, Mars performed I Just Might and his collaboration “APT.” with Rosé at the 2026 Grammy Awards. In 2025, he also topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “Die with a Smile,” his duet with Lady Gaga.
Mars will support The Romantic with a global stadium run, The Romantic Tour, kicking off this summer.
Anderson . Paak, performing as DJ Pee Wee, will open all dates, with additional appearances by Victoria Monét, RAYE, and Leon Thomas on select stops.
