Demi Moore has unveiled a dramatic new look, debuting a sleek, wet-look bob at Milan Fashion Week that marks one of the boldest departures yet from her signature waist-length hair.

The 63-year-old actress stepped out at Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2026 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week, unveiling a dramatic look — a bold departure from her signature waist-length dark hair. The event took place at Palazzo Delle Scintille on Feb. 26.

Moore’s sleek, above-the-shoulder cut was styled by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who dubbed the transformation the “Demi-tris BoB” on Instagram.

In a press statement, Giannetos said the look was designed to complement Gucci creative director Demna Gvasalia’s new collection.

“I wanted to give Demi a very bold and fashion forward look for Demna’s show,” he said. “It is inspired by the silhouettes of the new collection. I felt an amazing, short, above-the-shoulder bob with this very sleek wet texture would be perfect to complement her look. It’s a big change for Demi — we’ve never seen her like this before.”

He added that the cut gives Moore a “cool, effortless and modern” edge while highlighting her personality.

For the show, Moore paired her edgy hairstyle with an all-leather ensemble curated by stylist Brad Goreski.

The look featured a fitted black jacket and slim trousers, accented with oversized sunglasses, black stilettos and a structured handbag — all by Gucci under Demna’s direction.

Adding a personal touch to her runway-ready appearance, Moore carried her beloved chihuahua, Pilaf, tucked in one arm as she posed for photographers.

While the transformation may surprise fans accustomed to her long, flowing locks, Moore has long embraced versatility when it comes to beauty.

In a January interview with People, she reflected on her evolving hairstyles, noting that her hair “has lived many lives.”

One of her most memorable transformations came in 1997 for her role in G.I. Jane, when she shaved her head entirely — a move she previously described as “the most illuminating experience” that deepened her appreciation for her hair.

Still, Moore has often returned to her quintessential long style, calling it her favorite for its simplicity.

“It feels most like me,” she said. “Being able to change my look with wigs and pieces feeds my need for change, but at the end of the day, I love taking it down… It’s like coming home.”
