Bhad Bhabie addresses fans amid tough cancer update

Bhad Bhabie, the 22-year-old rapper whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, gives fans a sobering update on her ongoing fight with blood cancer.

Over the weekend, Bregoli took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news, “Bad news from my doctor yesterday. God has the last say so, not my cancer.” She did not provide further details.

Bhad Bhabie first revealed her diagnosis last year and has since used social media to clarify misinformation about her condition. 

She emphasized that her cancer affects her white blood cell count but does not impact her physically, dismissing rumors that it is breast or lung cancer.

The rapper has also defended decisions regarding cosmetic procedures amid her diagnosis, stating on Instagram that she received medical clearance for surgeries, including a nose job. 

“I’m going to top doctors, right? They’re not gonna do plastic surgery on a cancer patient without clearance from their cancer doctor. I had to get clearance both times for both my surgeries,” she wrote.

Bregoli addressed the scrutiny she has faced online, pushing back against fans accusing her of lying about her health. “I’ve NEVER been the type of person who ‘lies just to lie,’” she said. 

“Normalize not pretending you know what’s really going on in celebrities’ lives. You don’t know us, you just see us through a screen.”

Despite the challenges, Bhad Bhabie continues to engage openly with her audience, sharing both her struggles and her personal choices in the public eye.
