Timothée Chalamet’s Cartier necklace sparks speculation about Kylie Jenner connection

Timothée Chalamet arrived at the 32nd annual Actor Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles looking every bit the awards-season style icon — and his $33,000 Panthère de Cartier necklace quickly became a talking point.

The “Marty Supreme” star, nominated for Outstanding Male Actor in a Leading Role, paired the dazzling 18K white gold piece — featuring 189 brilliant-cut diamonds and a single emerald — with a cream suit jacket and black pants. 

Chalamet walked the red carpet alongside his mother, Nicole Flender, rather than his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, sparking rumors that the necklace may serve as a subtle nod to her.

Chalamet has made the necklace his go-to accessory this awards season, having worn it at the 2026 Golden Globes, where he won Best Actor, as well as at the AFI Awards and Critics’ Choice Awards.

Both Chalamet and Jenner are Cartier enthusiasts: the couple previously wore matching panther motif rings at the 2025 BAFTAs. 

Fans have speculated that Jenner may even own a version of Chalamet’s Cartier Love Necklace, wearing it as a bracelet in 2023, which celebrates “life’s most paramount relationships,” according to Cartier.

The pair’s coordinated jewelry choices are part of a broader trend of matching red carpet looks. 

They recently appeared in all-black ensembles at the BAFTAs and sported bright orange Chrome Hearts outfits at the “Marty Supreme” LA premiere.

Chalamet has also made public acknowledgments of Jenner during awards speeches, declaring his love for her and calling her his “partner of three years” at the Critics’ Choice Awards in January.
