Zendaya’s Mom shares cryptic response to stylist’s secret wedding tease
The couple confirmed their engagement in January 2025
Zendaya's mother has responded to the wedding rumors with a playful laugh after her stylist, Law Roach, suggested that her daughter had secretly married Tom Holland.
Claire Stoermer reacted after Law Roach sparked fresh speculation that Zendaya and Tom Holland have secretly tied the knot.
On Monday, March 2, Stoermer reposted a clip of her daughter’s longtime stylist speaking about the couple’s supposed wedding and added a playful caption: “The laugh…” along with a laughing emoji.
In the video, filmed on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, Roach, 47, teased to Entertainment Tonight, “The wedding has already happened,” before joking, “You missed it.”
When the reporter referenced recent sightings of Zendaya, 29, wearing a gold band, Roach doubled down playfully. “The wedding is over, sorry,” he said with a laugh.
Representatives for Zendaya and Holland have not confirmed any wedding.
Rumors about the couple’s relationship status have swirled for years. Speculation intensified at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 5, when Zendaya was photographed wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.
The following day, TMZ confirmed the engagement, citing sources close to the pair.
At the time, a source told People that Holland — also 29 — had long planned to propose.
“He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one,” the insider said, adding, “They have something very special.”
Holland later publicly confirmed the engagement in September 2025 during a panel event.
After a reporter referred to Zendaya as his “girlfriend,” the actor smiled and corrected him with one word: “Fiancée.”
The couple first met in 2016 after being cast as Peter Parker and MJ in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Romance rumors began circulating in 2017, though the pair kept their relationship largely private until confirming it in 2021.
An insider previously shared that they grew close while filming the Marvel franchise.
“They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye,” the source said at the time.
“But they’ve gone on vacations together and try to spend as much time as possible with one another.”
The duo continues to balance their personal and professional lives. Both are set to appear in The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan, and will reprise their Marvel roles in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, slated for release July 31.
