The “Better Call Saul” actor who shared he was working as an Amazon delivery driver has resigned and is currently on the hunt for a new job — all while continuing to pursue acting opportunities.

John Christian Love provided an exclusive update to Page Six on Tuesday after his story about the delivery job gained significant attention on Reddit.

“Quick update — I actually left Amazon a few days ago,” he mentioned, adding that he’s presently attending interviews for other non-acting positions and had applied to numerous jobs before resigning.

“The rural delivery routes were deteriorating my health,” he explained, alluding to his existing health concerns from scoliosis and Scheuermann’s disease, a cause of back pain.

Nevertheless, Love, 35, described the contracted role as “the latest chapter” in his “much larger story.”

“Acting has never been enough to cover my expenses — not even with 11 episodes of ‘Better Call Saul,’” he stated. “I’ve always had to juggle regular jobs, and I devote full dedication to each one of them, just as I do with every acting role.”

The actor — an alumnus of the now-defunct Santa Fe University of Art and Design — explained that he has maintained regular jobs throughout his life while also chasing his artistic passion.

“I’ve never been able to rely solely on acting,” he said. “I’ve always needed day jobs.”

Love expressed that his expectations were high when he got cast in the movie “Lone Wolf” with Bryan Cranston, Lily Gladstone, and Chet Hanks, only for production to stop in February 2025 due to financial struggles.

He revealed he was never compensated for his participation in the film.

“This turned out to be one of those rare instances where the production company simply ran out of funds,” he said.

Love shared that the driving force behind his Hollywood aspirations is the memory of his brother, who passed away during his time at work.

Though Love remains in contact with old co-stars like Rhea Seehorn, he has never requested favours from them and doesn’t intend to.

“I don’t want to be like, ‘Hey, can you help me out?’ I’d rather my work speak for me. Let it serve as its own merit,” he said.

Love is still auditioning, having recently gone out for roles in a series called “Southern Bastards,” and a spin-off of “Snowfall.”
