Rob Rausch gifts Maura Higgins a luxury Birkin to settle 'Traitors' debt

Reality television star Rob Rausch has made good on a high-stakes promise to his former co-star Maura Higgins. During a live appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, the 27-year-old winner of The Traitors US Season 4 presented Higgins with a luxury Hermès Birkin bag.

The extravagant gesture follows Rausch’s dramatic betrayal of the Love Island alumna during the show’s finale, where he revealed his secret identity as a "Traitor" to claim the $220,800 prize.

Host Andy Cohen facilitated the moment, jokingly asking the audience, “Would you forgive someone if they bought you a Birkin?”

As Rausch donned plastic gloves to unbox the iconic orange package, a delighted Higgins remarked, “I knew I would win. This is my moment.”

Rausch later revealed that cast-mate Lisa Rinna assisted with the purchase, providing the "resources" needed to secure the specific burgundy size 30 model with gold accents that Higgins had requested.

Despite their palpable on-screen chemistry, both stars were quick to clarify the nature of their relationship. Rausch confirmed during the reunion that he has been in a private relationship for two months, while Higgins described Rausch as being like a “brother.”

Dismissing online speculation about her "flirty" behaviour, Higgins told Us Weekly, “I’m not gonna ruin it for the viewers, but no, nothing ever happened between me and Rob.”

She added that fans familiar with her time on Love Island would know if she were truly pursuing a romantic connection, insisting that their bond remains strictly platonic.
