Fitness influencer Sharon Rodrigues has revealed the simplified nutritional strategy behind her impressive 40kg weight loss, achieved in just five months.

Moving away from "fancy or extreme" diets, Rodrigues shared her personal meal plan on Instagram on 5 March, advocating for a high-protein approach that prioritises consistency over restriction.

Her philosophy centres on creating meals that are "easy to make, easy to track and easy to repeat."

The high-protein strategy

Rodrigues maintains that successful fat loss is not about starvation but about intelligent structure. “Fat loss does not mean starving yourself,” she shared.

“It just means building meals around protein and keeping things simple enough that you can do it every single day.”

Her day typically begins with a 350-calorie serving of overnight protein oats, which she claims tastes like dessert while suppressing cravings for up to five hours.

Core dietary components

The influencer’s plan focuses on two substantial daily meals and strategic supplementation:

  • Breakfast (12pm): Overnight oats or a Greek yoghurt bowl, packed with 30g of protein.
  • Dinner (6pm): A grilled chicken or paneer salad, providing approximately 65g of protein.
  • Smart Desserts: Rotating between protein bars and homemade brownies to satisfy sweetness without exceeding 220 calories.
  • Daily Routine: A lean protein shake, sugar-free coffee, and a morning detox tea containing ginger and cinnamon.

Rodrigues emphasises that meal prepping and keeping healthy options available are essential to avoid impulsive, hunger-driven choices.

By focusing on taste and high protein, she believes anyone can sustain a calorie deficit without the psychological burden of a restrictive regimen.
