Machine Gun Kelly corrects photographers over awkward Megan Fox mix-up
Machine Gun Kelly clarified his daughter's identity during a Paris Fashion Week blunder
The American musician Machine Gun Kelly was forced to intervene during Paris Fashion Week after photographers mistakenly identified his teenage daughter as his former fiancée, Megan Fox.
The confusion occurred on Wednesday as the 35-year-old singer arrived at the Stella McCartney show accompanied by 16-year-old Casie Baker.
Video footage captured the rapper correcting the shouting press, stating: “That’s my daughter, not Megan,” before the pair proceeded into the venue.
The father-daughter duo coordinated in stylish ensembles, with Casie wearing a heather grey minidress and sparkly accessories.
Following the event, the rapper shared images of their trip on Instagram, jokingly captioning the post: “got mogged by my own flesh and blood.”
The incident highlights the intense media scrutiny surrounding the musician’s personal life, particularly following his high-profile relationship with Fox.
The 39-year-old actress recently made her own headlines by returning to social media with a series of provocative images, captioned: “Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed.”
Despite calling off their 2022 engagement in March 2024, the pair share a young daughter, Saga Blade, and have sparked reconciliation rumours after being spotted on various family outings.
Machine Gun Kelly appeared to hint at their ongoing closeness by commenting on Fox's recent post: “Stoked i have your phone number.”
While the couple's romantic status remains the subject of much speculation, this latest public appearance confirms the singer’s commitment to his eldest daughter amidst the whirlwind of the international fashion circuit.
