Hilary Duff is looking back at her 2009 guest role on Gossip Girl—and one scene stands out above all.

Duff played Olivia Burke, a glamorous movie star navigating Manhattan’s Upper East Side, during season 3 of the hit teen drama.

Reflecting on her time on the show, she told Harper’s Bazaar, “Probably the threesome was the most standout moment,” referencing the headline-making storyline involving Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr).

Though her appearance was brief, Duff’s character left a lasting impression. She admitted the scene felt bold at the time, recalling, “Oh, my mom's going to call me after this one.”

The moment remains a memorable highlight for fans, even years later.

Duff recounted a recent trip to Paris when a lost luggage encounter prompted a fan to recognize her from Gossip Girl, “I was in Paris not too long ago and my bag got lost. I went up to the lady who worked at the airline and she's like, ‘Are you on Gossip Girl?’ Yes. Love that's how you know me.’”

Olivia Burke may be remembered for that daring storyline, but Duff’s career spans far beyond it.

She first rose to fame starring in Lizzie McGuire, and went on to star in films including A Cinderella Story and Cadet Kelly

In addition to acting, Duff balances her music career and motherhood.

Her latest album, luck… or something, dropped on Feb. 20, and she’s gearing up for The Lucky Me Tour, which kicks off this June.
