Woman arrested after reportedly firing 10 shots toward Rihanna’s mansion
Authorities confirm no injuries were reported in the incident
A woman has been arrested after allegedly firing multiple gunshots toward Rihanna’s Los Angeles-area home over the weekend, authorities confirmed.
According to reports, the incident occurred early Sunday afternoon in the upscale Beverly Crest neighborhood near Beverly Hills.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. following reports of gunfire in the area.
Dispatch audio indicated that the suspect, described as a woman in her early 30s, fired around 10 rounds from inside a vehicle parked across the street from the property. At least one bullet reportedly struck an exterior wall of the residence.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department quickly responded and located the suspect’s vehicle as it fled the scene.
The woman was taken into custody a short time later. Authorities have not publicly identified her, and investigators say the motive remains under investigation.
Rihanna, 38, was reportedly inside the home when the gunfire occurred. However, no injuries were reported, and police confirmed that everyone at the property was unharmed.
A source also told the New York Post that Rihanna’s partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, was not at the residence at the time. It remains unclear whether the couple’s three children were present during the incident.
Detectives later examined the property and recovered several shell casings from the street. Early reports suggest the suspect may have used a rifle and fired from inside her vehicle before driving away.
While one bullet penetrated a wall of the home, most of the rounds appear to have struck the gate or other exterior parts of the property.
The incident is the latest in a series of security concerns connected to the singer’s residence in recent years.
In 2023, Rihanna’s driver was targeted by thieves who stole his vehicle while it was parked outside the star’s home.
Around the same time, police were also called after a man traveled from South Carolina to the property intending to propose to the singer.
Security stopped the individual before he could approach the house, and officers later escorted him away after determining no laws had been broken.
Another alarming incident occurred in 2018 when a man was discovered inside the home after spending about 12 hours there while Rihanna was away.
The intruder was later arrested and eventually pleaded guilty to stalking, vandalism, and resisting arrest.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the latest shooting incident.
