Inside Denise Richards’ life as mom to Sami, Lola and adopted daughter Eloise
Denise Richards is proud of raising her three daughters in the public eye
Denise Richards has played many roles in Hollywood, but her favorite by far is being a mom to her three daughters: Sami, Lola, and Eloise.
The Wild Things actress, 54, told People in 2019, “I'm most proud of raising my kids, especially in a time that is very different from how I was raised. It's extremely hard to keep children grounded. This is not an easy time to grow up.”
Sami Sheen
Richards and ex-husband Charlie Sheen welcomed their eldest daughter, Sami, on March 9, 2004.
Sami has occasionally appeared on RHOBH, showing the ups and downs of their mother-daughter relationship.
In 2022, Richards described it as “strained” but emphasized her support for Sami’s ventures, including joining OnlyFans.
“I wish I had the confidence my 18-year-old daughter has. And I also can't be judgmental of her choices,” Richards said in June 2022. Sami has said she uses the platform to advocate for body positivity, and Richards has been “extremely supportive.”
Sami also shares a love of music, attending events like Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival, and frequently posts moments with her mom. Richards has marked Sami’s birthdays with heartfelt tributes, praising her beauty and wisdom.
Lola Rose Sheen
Lola was born on June 1, 2005, to Richards and Charlie Sheen. While Richards faced challenges co-parenting following her divorce, she has focused on instilling values and boundaries.
“She is going to be so grateful because she is going to be one strong woman,” Richards said, reflecting on advice from her father. Lola enjoys music and horseback riding, often sharing her experiences online.
Richards has celebrated her daughter with warm birthday posts, emphasizing Lola’s compassion and loving nature.
Eloise Joni Richards
Richards expanded her family through adoption, welcoming Eloise in May 2011. Following her marriage to Aaron Phypers in 2018, he began the process of legally adopting Eloise.
Richards has openly discussed Eloise’s chromosomal disorder, which caused developmental delays, including a late start to walking.
Despite being primarily nonverbal, Eloise is highly observant and shares a close bond with her older sisters. Sami described Eloise as her “best friend,” highlighting moments of shared activities like shopping, tennis, and doing makeup together.
Through social media and interviews, Richards continues to share candid glimpses into her daughters’ lives, celebrating their individuality and the strong family bond they share.
