Maren Morris slams Donald Trump and his voters in TikTok rant

Maren Morris has taken aim at Donald Trump and his supporters, calling him a “dementia-ridden, diaper-clad cornball” in a TikTok video. 

Morris didn’t mince words about voters who supported Trump, saying: “I don’t have forgiveness for the triple Trumpers or any of the Trumpers. You did vote for this … you got bamboozled. This is literally the result of ploying and voting for losers.”

The singer, known for hits like My Church and Get the Hell Out of Here, has long been vocal about her political views. 

She recently opened up about her complicated relationship with the country music industry, telling the Los Angeles Times:

“I thought I’d like to burn it to the ground and start over. But it’s burning itself down without my help.”

Morris, a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and Black Lives Matter, reflected on how challenging it has been to push for change in an industry that often scrutinizes women more harshly than men.

“Being one of the few women that had any success on country radio, everything you do is looked at under a microscope … I’ve had to clear all of that out of my head this year and just write songs,” she said.

She added that stepping away from the drama has allowed her to focus on her music and personal growth.

“I always thought I’d have to do middle fingers in the air jumping out of an airplane, but I’m trying to mature here and realize I can just walk away from the parts of this that no longer make me happy.”

Morris’ candid remarks continue to reinforce her reputation as an artist unafraid to speak her mind, whether it’s about politics, social issues, or the challenges of navigating country music as a woman.
