Filming is underway for the upcoming HBO reboot of the Harry Potter saga, but reports indicate that production bosses are addressing bullying allegations among cast members and crew.

According to sources, senior management has taken immediate steps following claims of inappropriate behavior, including incidents involving two 12-year-old extras reportedly fighting between shoots.

“There are a lot of youngsters on set at any one time, and the reality is that not everyone is going to get along,” a source told The Sun

“It’s an alarming problem, and bosses want to remove any disruptive individuals from the production. Warnings about behavior have already been issued, and the bullying accusations have involved both adults and children.”

The series, which is planned to span much of the next decade with each installment focusing on one of J.K. Rowling’s seven books, has prompted producers to act decisively.

“It has been made clear that anyone reported for bullying will be immediately removed, no matter their level of fame,” the insider added. “Filming will last eight years, and bosses are adamant that any inappropriate behavior must be addressed immediately.”

Warner Bros. has reportedly circulated anti-bullying policies and guidance on reporting misconduct, including an anonymous reporting system. Cast and crew will also have access to free online counseling, coaching sessions, and additional well-being resources.

The source emphasized that all reports are being treated “incredibly seriously,” and victims are being advised on the appropriate channels to seek support.

No details about the individuals involved in the complaints have been released.

The first season of the reboot is scheduled to premiere on HBO next year, featuring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, stepping into the roles originally portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson.

The cast will also include John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, with additional cast members yet to be announced.
