Nvidia is gearing up to launch an open-source platform named 'NemoClaw' for artificial intelligence (AI) agents.

This move aligns with the increasing trend of AI tools, as reported by Wired on Tuesday.

According to anonymous insiders, the report suggests Nvidia has begun pitching the platform to enterprise software firms, aiming for collaborations with Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, and CrowdStrike.

It's still uncertain if formal partnerships have been confirmed. As the platform is anticipated to be open-source, partners are likely to receive complimentary access, with early entry granted in return for contributions to the initiative, sources shared with Wired.

The report indicates that this platform will enable companies to deploy AI agents for their staff and is likely to include security and privacy features.

Companies will have access to the platform regardless of whether they use Nvidia's chips or not, it mentioned further.

Nvidia has started increasing its focus on AI agents, as enterprises transition from large language models to more specific tools capable of reasoning, planning, and executing intricate, multi-stage tasks autonomously.

For example, the firm has introduced foundational models aimed at supporting AI agents such as Nemotron and Cosmos in recent months.

They have also broadened their 'NeMo' platform, which assists users in managing the entire AI agent lifecycle — from data collection and customisation to oversight and enhancement.

Nvidia's growing interest in agents coincides with the rising acceptance of "claws" — open-source AI tools operating locally on a user’s system and executing sequential tasks.

Nevertheless, experts have raised concerns regarding numerous security dangers linked to OpenClaw’s emerging AI tools, particularly for enterprise clients Nvidia is reportedly targeting with its AI agent platform.
