How Rihanna spent her Saturday evening before Beverly Hills shooting
Rihanna opted for a comfortable grey sweatsuit for her last outing before the attack
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky enjoyed a relaxed date night in Los Angeles just hours before a frightening shooting occurred at their Beverly Hills mansion.
On Saturday evening, the couple were photographed playing arcade games at Lucky Strike, located within the Beverly Centre.
Witnesses noted that the singer, 38, and the rapper, 37, appeared to be in high spirits as they stayed at the venue until 2am accompanied by a heavy security presence.
The pair chose casual attire for the outing, with Rihanna sporting a grey sweatsuit and trainers, while Rocky also opted for a comfortable top and a cap.
The peaceful family atmosphere was shattered on Sunday afternoon when a woman, identified as 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz, allegedly fired at the residence using an AR-15-style rifle.
Rihanna was inside the property during the attack, though Rocky was not home at the time. One bullet reportedly pierced a wall of the £11 million mansion, which the couple shares with their three children: RZA, Riot Rose, and five-month-old Rocki Irish Mayers.
Ortiz has since been arrested for attempted murder and remains in custody with bail set at £8 million. Despite the severity of the incident, a family source confirmed that the singer and her children are "all doing okay."
The motive for the shooting remains unclear, as the couple reportedly "don’t know much" about why their home was targeted.
Rihanna has not yet publicly commented on the terrifying transition from her quiet Saturday night to the violent events that followed.
