Missing 12-year-old Armani Reynolds found safe at Ohio residence
Armani’s mother recalls the final words shared before the midnight vanishing
A 12-year-old girl who sparked a widespread search after vanishing from her Ohio home has been located safe, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
Armani Reynolds disappeared from her residence on Boydson Drive in Toledo during the early morning hours of Saturday.
Following a tense four-day search, the Toledo Police Department announced that the youngster had been found at a property in Sylvania.
Officials expressed gratitude to the public for their assistance in spreading the word, though specific details regarding the circumstances of her discovery have not been released.
The disappearance began after a routine evening at the family home. Her mother, Devin Reynolds, recalled seeing her daughter around 1 a.m. on the Saturday morning.
“She said ‘Goodnight. I love you.’ And that was it,” Devin recounted. Upon waking later that day, the mother discovered Armani’s bedroom window unlocked and her daughter gone.
This led to an immediate missing person report and a bulletin from police expressing significant concerns for the girl's safety.
During the ordeal, the family maintained a public plea for the 12-year-old’s return, assuring her she would not face any repercussions for her absence.
“I just want you home and I’m not mad at you,” her mother stated in an emotional appeal before the safe recovery.
While the investigation reached a positive conclusion, the local department has yet to provide further comment on the events leading to her being found.
