Comedian Nikki Glaser is set to return as host of the Golden Globe Awards once again, marking her third time leading the high-profile ceremony.

Organizers confirmed that the 41-year-old comic will host the 84th Golden Globe Awards in 2027 after earning strong reactions from audiences and industry insiders during the previous two ceremonies.

Glaser first made headlines in 2025 when she became the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo.

Her performance was widely praised, leading organizers to invite her back for the 2026 show.

Following another well-received hosting stint earlier this year, the awards body announced that she will return for next year’s event as well.

Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes organization, praised Glaser’s hosting style in a statement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nikki back to the Golden Globes stage in 2027,” Hoehne said. “Her comedic precision, authenticity and ability to command the room is unmatched, and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for next year’s show.”

Glaser responded with her trademark humor, joking that the opportunity means more than just returning to the stage.

“I’m thrilled to host the Golden Globes for a third time,” she said. “Not only because it’s the greatest gig I’ve ever had, but because my sister has three kids and now we will be equal in the eyes of my parents and the Lord.”

The comedian is known for her sharp monologues and celebrity-focused humor. After hosting this year’s ceremony, Glaser revealed that several jokes she initially planned for her opening monologue were ultimately cut.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, she shared one scrapped joke about actor Timothée Chalamet, who starred in the film Marty Supreme.

Although that particular line did not make the final script, Glaser still joked about the actor during the ceremony, poking fun at his physical transformation for the role.

She also revealed that other jokes about celebrities such as Sydney Sweeney and Brad Pitt, were ultimately left out of the show.

With her return now confirmed, Glaser is expected to once again deliver a sharp and comedic opening monologue when the Golden Globes return in 2027, continuing a hosting run that has quickly become one of the ceremony’s defining recent traditions.
