Whitney Cummings is diving headfirst into wedding planning with fiancé Chris Cole, and fans are getting an early glimpse of the couple’s unique approach.

The comedian, actress, and podcaster spoke with People at the charity gala An Unforgettable Evening in Beverly Hills on March 11, giving an update on the celebrations ahead.

“Wedding planning is going pretty well,” said Cummings, 43, who announced her engagement to professional skateboarder Cole in November 2025.

Cummings revealed she’s keeping her options wide open, joking about potential locations. “I’m vacillating between getting married at Tokyo Disneyland, just the two of us, or a thousand people at Dave & Buster’s,” she said.

She also mentioned the Madonna Inn, an animal sanctuary, and even teased the possibility of horses being involved, though she quickly added that her friends “are too annoying” for that plan.

Guest list plans are similarly flexible. “Truly, I refuse to say someone can’t come,” she said. “If you want a plus-one that you met on Hinge and she’s in your polyamorous throuple, bring them. Everyone’s welcome. I don’t know where it’s going to be, but I’m working on it.”

The bride-to-be also shared that a few people are “vying to officiate,” including comedian Bert Kreischer, whom she teased might perform “Chippendale style.” Meanwhile, Cole has been practicing the iconic lift from Dirty Dancing for a potential reception dance, showing off his skateboarder agility.

Cummings is also debating who will escort her down the aisle. “Henry might walk me down the aisle,” she said of her son, “but I also want all my girlfriends walking me down to be like, ‘You’re marrying all of us.’”

As for her wedding gown, Cummings is on the hunt in an unconventional way. “I’m deep in eBay wedding dresses,” she said, noting the surprising selection of never-worn dresses available at great prices.

“You can get a Vera Wang for $1,000 and help out a woman who probably called off her wedding.”
