Kanye West is scheduled to perform at Atlético Madrid’s stadium, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, on 30 July, despite a wave of controversy regarding ticket pricing.

Fans initially expressed scepticism concerning the reliability of the booking platform, concerns which intensified following a significant and sudden reduction in ticket costs.

Initially, seats in Upper Tier 2 were priced at €225, but they have since dropped to €150. Similar reductions across middle and lower tiers left many supporters confused and fuelled widespread rumours of a potential scam.

The Atlético de Madrid Communications Department has since moved to clarify the situation and confirm the event’s legitimacy.

“The concert is on and tickets are being sold,” officials told the Spanish radio network LOS40, seeking to reassure the public that the show remains a confirmed fixture.

The logistical confusion coincided with a fabricated social media post involving West’s former wife, Kim Kardashian, which was viewed over 23 million times.

A parody account shared a fake quote suggesting the rapper still harboured romantic feelings for the reality star.

Despite the viral nature of the post, the pair have been separated since 2021 and remain focused on their co-parenting responsibilities for their four children.

Kardashian recently addressed their enduring connection, telling Complex: “We’ll always be family. We both know that. We will be okay, and there's so much love for our family. We want what’s best for our kids.”
