Kate Cassidy was overwhelmed with tears when an unknown TikTok user sent her a bouquet of flowers that included a hurtful note.
When the late Liam Payne’s girlfriend was informed by her building’s front desk about the delivery, she initially felt delighted.
However, her joy soon turned to dismay after reading the card that came with the flowers.
The mean message said: “Happy early birthday! The Botox and the TikTok filters are working harder than all of us.”
Kate was in the middle of filming a TikTok video when she was informed about the delivery, which inadvertently recorded her reaction to the cruel prank.
She started the video with a grin, stating: “I just received a call from the front desk informing me about a flower delivery waiting for me.
“Honestly, I have no clue who might have sent them, and it’s making me a bit anxious.
“Wow, I absolutely love receiving flowers. Now I'll just wait here for someone to bring them to me.”
The social media star waited with eagerness, adding: “I think he’s arrived since Nala, my dog, just got up.”
Upon reading the message, Kate's mood changed as she said: “Okay, these flowers need to be immediately tossed in the garbage.
“I’m visibly shaking and incredibly upset.
“Who would honestly spend their money and time just to deliberately offend someone?
“Who does that? I'm really fed up with these situations.”
Last month, Kate posted a touching message for Valentine’s Day, expressing well wishes to her "best friend," Liam.
Her message was shared along with a series of photos of them enjoying a night out.
Liam passed away in 2024 after an accidental fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He was in Argentina to support his One Direction bandmate Niall Horan during a tour.
The autopsy revealed that Liam, aged 31, had alcohol and cocaine in his system at the time of his passing.
Kate and Liam began their relationship in October 2022, making their first public appearance together at a Halloween event.
