Viral footage reveals 'One Battle After Another' star Teyana Taylor in backstage altercation at Oscars
A sensational video has captured "One Battle After Another" star Teyana Taylor in a heated exchange with a man backstage at the Oscars, alleging that he laid his hands on her.
"You dared to put your hands on a woman," remarked Taylor, 35, before accusing the man of being impolite, as per the video shared on X.
"He practically pushed me. He was almost shoving her too," she exclaimed as she continued to scold the man, referring to another unidentified woman.
TMZ sources reported that a security guard obstructed Taylor as she attempted to return to the stage at the Dolby Theatre for a photograph with her "One Battle After Another" co-stars.
She was surpassed by "Weapons" actress Amy Madigan for the Best Supporting Actress award.
Nevertheless, some enthusiasts believed Taylor was worthy of the award.
"Teyana Taylor was unjustly denied the award,” one admirer commented following the announcement.
"Teyana Taylor was snubbed," another onlooker remarked.
"Her performance in One Battle After Another merited the Best Supporting Actress Oscar."
Taylor couldn't hide her joy as she lightheartedly put Paul Thomas Anderson, the director of "One Battle After Another,” in a headlock when he went up to accept the Best Picture trophy.
"I adore that girl,” a spectator enthused.
"Who let her in the venue, dude," a second observer noted.
"One Battle After Another" garnered 13 nominations at this year’s Academy Awards.
Ryan Coogler’s "Sinners" set Oscar records as the most-nominated film ever with 16 nominations. The film secured four Oscars.
