Michael B. Jordan shares post-awards celebration with fans at In-N-Out
The 'Creed' star's post-ceremony visit came before heading to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party
Michael B. Jordan found a delightfully down-to-earth way to celebrate his Best Actor win at the 98th Academy Awards: he headed straight to In-N-Out Burger.
The 39-year-old actor, who won the coveted Academy Award for his dual role as twins Smoke and Stack in Sinners, was all smiles as he posed with his Oscar at the counter, surrounded by fans cheering and snapping photos.
Clips shared on social media captured the celebratory moment, showing Jordan standing in front of trays of burgers and fries while holding his golden statuette.
Earlier in the evening, Jordan delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
He thanked his family, the film’s director and longtime collaborator Ryan Coogler, who also won Best Original Screenplay, and his two leading ladies, Wunmi Mosaku and Hailee Steinfeld, both expecting their first children.
“I stand here because of the people that came before me: Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker, Will Smith,” Jordan said, paying tribute to Black actors and actresses who paved the way in Hollywood.
After his In-N-Out stop, Jordan continued the celebrations at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, capping off a memorable night in a sharp brown suit and kissing his Oscar on the red carpet.
This year, Jordan beat out an impressive lineup of nominees, including Leonardo DiCaprio, One Battle After Another, Wagner Moura The Secret Agent, Ethan Hawke Blue Moon, and Timothée Chalamet, Marty Supreme.
The ceremony aired live on ABC and streamed on Hulu.
