Kim Kardashian turned heads at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars Party, debuting an icy blue-eyed transformation alongside a shimmering gold Gucci gown.

The SKIMS founder, 45, shared behind-the-scenes clips on Instagram showing her getting ready for the star-studded event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Sunday, March 15.

Kardashian’s look was a full-on glow-up: a figure-hugging, floor-length gown that had debuted on the Milan Fashion Week runway last month, paired with towering platform heels and a tousled, shoulder-length hairstyle. Nude lipstick and smoky eye makeup made her icy-blue contacts pop, giving the reality TV star an almost unrecognizable appearance.

Her Instagram post captured multiple angles of the ensemble, including a close-up video highlighting her dramatic eye transformation, and a snapshot alongside Gucci’s creative director, Demna.

“DEMNA 4 EVER @GUCCI,” she captioned her post, while Demna shared images of the gown and heels before Kardashian donned them, tagging the moment “DEMNA AND KIM #Oscarsafterparty.”

Kardashian’s 2026 Vanity Fair look marked a departure from her 2025 ensemble, when she wore a strapless white Balenciaga ball gown reminiscent of her 2011 wedding dress.

Her edgy new style aligns with her mission to inspire fashion lovers: in a recent Complex interview, she emphasized that even dramatic red carpet looks can be relatable and attainable with thoughtful choices in color and silhouette.

The SKIMS founder, mother of four with ex-husband Kanye West, has recently been linked to British F1 star Lewis Hamilton, though he was racing in Shanghai during the Oscars weekend.

With her gold Gucci gown, icy-blue gaze, and red-carpet confidence, Kardashian once again solidified her role as a trendsetter, showing that high-fashion statements can be both bold and accessible.
