Millie Bobby Brown celebrates first U.K. Mother’s Day after adopting baby girl
The 'Stranger Things' star shared a heartfelt Instagram message honouring fellow 'U.K. mummies'
Millie Bobby Brown marked a special milestone this year as she celebrated her first U.K. Mother’s Day since becoming a mom.
The Stranger Things star shared a heartfelt message on social media honoring the occasion after welcoming a baby girl through adoption with husband Jake Bongiovi last summer.
The 22-year-old actress posted a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 15, acknowledging the British holiday and offering a message to fellow mothers.
“Happy U.K. Mother’s Day to all my U.K. mummies,” Brown wrote over the photo, where she appeared wearing a white crop top, a sweater and clear-framed glasses.
Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot in 2024 and announced the arrival of their daughter via adoption in August, sharing the news with fans through a joint social media post.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Brown wrote at the time, adding that the couple were excited to begin their next chapter of parenthood “in both peace and privacy.”
According to a source who previously spoke to People, the actress has embraced motherhood wholeheartedly and has been spending as much time as possible with her daughter despite her demanding work schedule.
The insider added that becoming a parent has brought Brown immense happiness as she balances family life with ongoing projects and promotions.
In December, Brown also shared glimpses of her life with her growing family on Instagram, including photos with Bongiovi and their newborn.
One image featured the couple with Bongiovi’s father, legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi, posing with the baby during a visit to New York City’s holiday markets.
