Achieving significant weight loss requires a strategic blend of consistency, hormonal balance, and sustainable lifestyle adjustments.

Certified nutritionist Amaka, known professionally as 'Shred with Amaka', recently outlined a comprehensive 60-day programme designed to help individuals lose up to 10kg.

Shared on Wednesday, the guidance emphasises that weight goals are attainable when one aligns daily habits with the body's natural metabolic processes.

The strategy focuses on five fundamental pillars to accelerate fat oxidation and reduce persistent cravings.

Central to this approach is the prioritisation of daily protein and the implementation of a strict eating window.

“If you stop eating after 7 pm and keep your dinners light, your hormones will balance, your midnight cravings will disappear, and your body will burn fat while you sleep,” the nutritionist advised.

Essential steps for rapid fat loss

  • Daily protein intake: Start with one high-protein meal to reduce cravings and boost metabolism.
  • Consistent movement: Aim for 10,000 steps daily to shrink belly fat; adding weight training further accelerates results.
  • Morning hydration: Drink warm lemon ginger water to reset digestion and "activate fat-burning pathways."
  • Early dinners: Concluding food intake by 7 pm allows for nocturnal fat burning.
  • Weekly detoxification: Incorporate fruit-only mornings or green smoothies once or twice a week to lower calorie intake without hunger.

Amaka insists that staying committed for 30 to 60 days will transform one's energy levels and physical silhouette. "The 10kg you thought was impossible will become your new reality," she concluded.
