Hailee Steinfeld reveals ‘gorgeous’ baby shower ahead of first child with Josh Allen

Hailee Steinfeld is giving fans a glimpse into a special milestone ahead of motherhood, revealing details from her “gorgeous” baby shower as she prepares to welcome her first child with husband Josh Allen.

The 29-year-old actress shared the intimate celebration in her Beau Society newsletter, describing a sunny backyard gathering in Los Angeles surrounded by close family and friends. 

The event, organized by her mother, brought together around 30 guests in what Steinfeld called her “most comfortable place.”

Rather than opting for a traditional theme, the shower featured a subtle nursery rhyme-inspired aesthetic, with books woven into the décor. 

Guests were encouraged to bring children’s books, helping build what Steinfeld described as a growing library for her baby.

One of the standout elements of the day was a knitting station set up by her mother, allowing attendees to create handmade pieces for the child. 

The activity held personal significance for Steinfeld, who reflected on how her mother first took up knitting during her early acting days.

“She taught me how to knit way back when,” Steinfeld shared, adding that she contributed a square to a blanket for her baby, calling the moment “full-circle.”

The actress, known for her role in Sinners, married Allen in May 2025 and has frequently spoken about her happiness in the relationship. 

In a previous newsletter, she described feeling grateful to have found her partner, saying her life now feels aligned in a way she had always hoped for.
