Kim Kardashian stumbles into bush in towering heels before Oscars afterparty

Kim Kardashian’s 2026 Oscars weekend was glamorous but not without a stumble.

Ahead of the Vanity Fair afterparty on March 15, the reality star, 45, shared a behind-the-scenes TikTok revealing a dramatic fall in her ensemble. 

Kardashian had been stepping out in a curve-hugging gold Gucci turtleneck gown paired with towering $80 heels when she buckled and partially toppled into a nearby bush. Friends, including Stephanie Shepard, were quick to catch her.

“My ankle,” Kardashian said in the clip, adding, “F---, that poor lady I grabbed her,” likely referring to an onlooker who nearly got caught in the mishap. Moments before the tumble, she had joked about her footwear, saying, “I wonder if this shoe should be tighter.”

Despite the misstep, Kardashian looked stunning on the red carpet. Her icy blue contact lenses and intentionally tousled hair added an edgy flair to the gold ensemble, proving the star can handle any pre-party chaos with style.

The bold look also caught the attention of race car driver Lewis Hamilton, 41, who Kardashian has been romantically linked to since February.

After she shared glam photos from the night, Hamilton responded with a heart-eyed emoji. 

A source told People that the Formula 1 star makes Kardashian “feel safe, and she genuinely enjoys spending time with him.”
