Charli XCX unveils wedding outfit worn on stage before marrying George Daniel

Charli XCX is doing things her own way.

The 33-year-old British pop sensation disclosed to British Vogue, where she graces the May cover, that she doesn't mind wearing outfits she's been seen in before — including the one from her big day.

Charli, who tied the knot with her husband George Daniel on July 19, 2025, donned several designer dresses during her London wedding. 

In her conversation with the magazine, she mentioned putting on her afterparty dress during a performance ahead of her wedding — and she intends to creatively reuse her bridal gown in the time to come.

“I honestly wear it regularly,” the UK artist remarked about the cream Saint Laurent ruffled jersey minidress — sold at $2,500, and designed with flowing long sleeves and a plunging scoop neck — that she wore next to The 1975 drummer.

Setting aside her veil for the celebrations, Charli wore the dress as it was, complementing it with white Jimmy Choo Amita 95 slingback heels (the same footwear she used at her wedding), a sleek clutch, and her shades.

"I wore it on stage in France alongside Air before we married," she noted about the second dress.

The concert she was referring to happened in June 2025, when she performed "Cherry Blossom Girl" with Air during the We Love Green festival in Paris. 

This three-day musical fest took place at the Bois de Vincennes in the city's eastern part.

She gave the dress a different vibe for the show, pairing the Saint Laurent piece with black knee-high, platform boots. 

For her hair, she opted for a sleek straight look spread over her shoulders, unlike the gentle waves she sported on her wedding day.

Charli organised a second wedding ceremony in the charming village of Scopello, Sicily, nearly two months after their London vows at Hackney Town Hall.

During the star-packed celebration, the singer chose a translucent, ethereal gown by Danielle Frankel. 

The choice was an ivory silk chiffon slip gown, elegantly cut on the bias with slender straps and a flowing train.

“I'll be wearing that many times," she told British Vogue. "I'm planning to take it apart and style it in multiple ways. The dress I married in has this foundation piece with billowy fabric that you can either attach or leave off."

"And if you can't do that, I'll find a way so you can," she explained, adding, "That way, I can rock it as my casual underpinning piece."

The festivities were shared with Daniel's bandmates from The 1975 — including lead singer Matty Healy and his fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel — as well as Charli's close companions, like Troye Sivan, her tour buddy from the past year.

Charli showcased more friends who attended her wedding in an Instagram post captioned, "i love my friendsssssssssss pt 1."

The images featured Julia Fox, who left a comment, "We adore you more," Caroline Polachek, who responded under the post, "Heart's eternally burst," and Robyn, who chimed in with, "A fantastic time! Thank you so much, love."
