The 17-year-old’s public move comes just months after her parents confirmed their separation in September 2025, ending one of Hollywood’s most enduring 19-year marriages.

While the "Blue Ain't Your Color" singer continues to follow his eldest daughter, reports suggest the relationship has become increasingly strained as the family navigates the emotional aftermath of the divorce.

Insiders indicate that Sunday and her 15-year-old sister, Faith Margaret, have remained steadfastly loyal to Nicole Kidman throughout the transition.

Celebrity reporter Rob Shuter recently claimed the teenagers are currently "refusing to meet" Urban’s rumoured new girlfriend, rising country artist Karley Scott Collins. The girls are reportedly focused on protecting their mother’s space and their own well-being.

This sentiment was further highlighted during Sunday’s March interview with "Elle Australia", where she credited Kidman as her "biggest inspiration" and a "key part of everything I do," notably omitting any mention of her father's influence on her burgeoning modelling career.

Although a judge in Tennessee officially signed off on the couple's divorce on 6 January 2026, the parental dynamics remain a work in progress.

Under the finalised settlement, Kidman holds primary custody for 306 days of the year, while Urban is granted visitation every other weekend.
