Taylor Frankie Paul shares emotional message after closing on her first home
The reality star announced she has officially purchased her first home on her own
Taylor Frankie Paul is celebrating a major personal milestone after officially becoming a homeowner, marking what she described as a meaningful step into a new chapter of her life.
The reality star shared the news with fans in a video posted to her Instagram account on May 18, showing the emotional moment she finalized the purchase of her first home on her own.
“Officially a solo home owner and thank you to the best real estate agent in Utah [Liann May, her mother],” she wrote in the caption.
In the post, Paul also reflected on the mixed emotions behind the achievement, admitting there was both joy and sadness in the transition.
“I see the sadness through the excitement but I am trying,” she wrote.
The video captured several key moments from the milestone, including Paul signing paperwork, celebrating the final steps of the purchase process, and dancing as confetti fell while she held a large key-shaped cutout. On-screen text in the clip read, “Closed and got keys to my first home on my own.”
Days earlier, the The Bachelorette alum had already hinted at the achievement in her Instagram Stories on May 6, revealing she had completed the purchase of a home she had previously been renting.
“I just bought my first house on my own, [I had] been renting for years,” she told followers at the time.
The milestone comes during a period of significant personal and professional change for Paul, whose career has recently faced disruptions.
In March, ABC reportedly paused plans involving hosting discussions tied to The Bachelorette amid legal developments, while production connected to her reality series was also temporarily halted.
Despite the challenges, Paul’s latest update signals a renewed focus on stability and personal growth as she steps into homeownership for the first time.
