Summer House star Kyle Cooke is pushing back against online speculation that his 2021 wedding to ex-wife Amanda Batula was staged, responding with sarcasm—and a throwback photo from their ceremony paperwork.

On Monday, May 25, Cooke, 43, addressed a since-deleted social media post that questioned the authenticity of their marriage, jokingly leaning into the rumor before shutting it down.

“You got me,” he wrote. “The only actor with a MBA, a SBA loan, 2 businesses… I’m a jack of all trades which is exactly why I’m capable of pulling off such trickery.”

He then shared a photo of himself and Batula, 34, sitting together at Hillsborough Town Hall in New Jersey, where the pair appear to be signing their marriage documents.

“Oh wait here’s a pic of us at Hillsborough town hall,” he added. “Respectfully, please take off your tinfoil hat.”

Cooke and Batula tied the knot on September 25, 2021, in an intimate backyard ceremony in Hillsborough, New Jersey, after postponing their original 2020 wedding plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several of their Summer House castmates attended the event, including Lindsay Hubbard, Danielle Olivera, Luke Gulbranson, and Ciara Miller.

The former couple announced their separation in January 2026 after four years of marriage, sharing a joint statement saying they had “mutually and amicably decided to part ways.”

In the months following their split, Batula has moved forward publicly, later confirming a romantic relationship with co-star West Wilson, adding another layer of attention to the group’s evolving dynamics on and off screen.

Despite the breakup, Cooke has continued to engage with fans and address speculation surrounding their relationship, often using humor to respond to online chatter while maintaining that key moments of their marriage were genuine.
