Jelly Roll ‘ready to go’ after split, says Bunnie Xo

Jelly Roll is already exploring the dating scene following his split from Bunnie Xo, and the podcast host says she is fully supportive of her estranged husband moving on.

Speaking candidly on the latest episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie Xo revealed that the country music star has begun dating after filing for divorce in May, describing him as eager to embrace a new chapter in his life.

“He is ready — raring and ready to go,” Bunnie said. “He’s all hopped up on testosterone, let me tell you. He’s even started dating.”

Rather than expressing concern about her former partner moving on so quickly, Bunnie insisted she is happy to see him enjoying himself.

“I think it’s great,” she said. “I love that.”

The podcast host even encouraged interested admirers to contact the Grammy-nominated singer directly, jokingly telling listeners that “his DMs are open.”

Bunnie went on to praise Jelly Roll’s recent transformation, noting that he is healthier and more confident than ever.

“Daddy Roll is probably in his finest season,” she said. “The man looks great. He’s feeling himself. He looks so good. He is healthier than he’s ever been.”

While Jelly Roll appears ready to meet new people, Bunnie said she is taking a different approach following the end of their marriage. Instead of re-entering the dating world, she plans to focus on personal growth and self-care.

“Don’t worry about your girl. She’s fine over here,” she explained. “The crazy thing is, I’m not even ready to hook up with a dude. I’m ready to just focus on myself, pour into myself.”

Bunnie also suggested that the singer deserves time to enjoy life after spending a decade in a committed relationship.

“He wants to settle down, but I’m just like, ‘J, you just got out of a 10-year relationship,’” she said. “Go play the field, bro. This is your time to shine.”

News of the couple’s separation emerged earlier this week after it was confirmed that Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18. Court documents cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Reflecting on the breakdown of their marriage, Bunnie acknowledged that communication problems ultimately contributed to the separation. She explained that both she and Jelly Roll often kept their frustrations to themselves instead of addressing issues directly.

“J and I have never really been good at having disagreements,” she said. “He would be holding things in. I would be holding things in, and that’s a recipe for disaster.”

According to Bunnie, the couple had previously encouraged one another to have difficult conversations, but admitted they drifted away from that approach over the past year and a half as their lives changed.

She also revealed that their final major argument took place on Mother’s Day and ended with her telling Jelly Roll to file for divorce.

Despite the end of their marriage, Bunnie’s comments suggest the pair remain on amicable terms, with the podcast host openly supporting her estranged husband as he begins navigating life as a single man once again.
